ALL RIGHT! - LET’S START

The Maze of Delon
This little game I developed 1984 for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. It was actually the first computer game I developed, and if I remember right, I wrote it completely in Z80 assembler. To see this game running in a web browser is pure nostalgia for me! I would like to thank to Adam Davidson and Andrew Pollard for their nice Spectrum emulator applet which allows you to play the game here!

If you load the page the game starts, just click with your mouse in the applet area and press any key after the copyright screen (yes, in 1984 I thought KaiSoft is a good name :). The next screen shows a little introduction, you can read the English version on the left side of the applet. Press any key to get to the key binding page. Just press a key for the right move key, then press enter. Do the same for left, up and down. For speed and difficulty level just press enter. After pressing any key again, the game starts. Find all the 4 diamonds and put them in the four placeholders in the middle of the maze. Use keys to open doors to locked areas and try to avoid monsters and bouncing balls.

If you actually play the game and solve the puzzle, make a screen shot of the 4 diamonds and send it to me!
May be I have a surprise for you...
